Althought the other person said it's not a very good place, i took a ride to Barroso in about 30 minutes.Peguei uma carona pra barroso em cerca de 30 minutos, não me pareceu um mal lugar. Porém realmente não tem acostamento =/

Not a very good spot, first you pass some markets and houses, then you reach a little bridge and there's some space right in front of it. No point going any further, there's no lane for the cars to stop and it's full of curves. Got a ride almost to Sao Paulo though.―Anonymous
